Help Children Escaping War in Fallujah

This morning I listened to another horrific report about families fleeing ISIS, this time in the Iraqi city of Fallujah. Those of us in the US all heard a lot about Fallujah during the US invasion of Iraq last decade. Now, ISIS is terrorizing men, women, and children there. In this story, a young boy who had managed to flee to Baghdad received a rations pack at a displacement camp managed by the Norwegian Refugee Council. He cried at the site of bread, because he hadn't seen bread in 5 months. 5 months! The aidworker on the radio program said that they are able to give 5 liters of water per person, per day, which is just over a galloon, in a very hot Iraq. This is just barely enough. But, she says, it's all they can afford because funds are tight and more people are arriving. Help contribute to the Norwegian Refugee Council so that they can provide more food and water to this boy and his family.
