Famine is a growing threat, as millions of trapped people face violence and starvation.
The pulverising of Gaza now ranks among the worst assaults on a civilian population from our time. Almost the entire population has been forced to flee their homes.
Severe restrictions on aid access and delivery have aggravated the situation, leading to starvation among Gaza's population, intensifying an already dire humanitarian crisis. Critical shortages of food, water, electricity, and fuel persist. In between the bombardment, the chaos and the panic, NRC has been able to provide support to people in need.
Together, with your support, we are:
- providing tents, mattresses and hygiene items
- supporting collective shelter sites
- providing clean water and hot meals
- distributing emergency cash assistance
Over 90 per cent of our global revenue goes directly to fulfil our purpose.
